Help Feed a Starving Child

People in Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, and South Sudan are suffering. According to the UN, more than 11 million people are in desperate need of food and clean water. 

Thankfully, the children in our homes, care centers and schools are well cared for and not affected by the drought.

However, clusters of families live hundreds of miles from “civilization” in tiny remote villages in northern Kenya. They live largely from what they are able to plant and harvest. But because of the drought, they have run out of food. Aid has been slow to reach them and runs out before the next delivery arrives. 

Pastor Charles in the remote village of Kiriko, West Laikipia reports, "The crops have failed with the lack of rain. The few plants that were growing have been destroyed by elephants. Many, including my family, have slept hungry and everyone is suffering."
