Christian Education Center School

The Christian Education Center School was started by local Christians.  When Kids Alive became involved, we were able to rent a larger school building; pay wages for national teachers; purchase furnishings, educational resources and other basics; and provide the children with a much-needed nutritious meal each day. There are now almost 200 children enthusiastically attending the school.

There is still much more for us to do in Colombia!  Kids Alive plans to improve the overall quality of the children's education, enhance their nutritious meals, provide clean water and offer better washroom facilities.  Along with our caring donors, we will continue working with the children of Guacamayal to break the cycle of poverty and to give them hope for the future.
