Janet's story
NO ONE TO TURN TO Following prolonged illnesses, Janet’s mom and dad died. She was just a young child herself with five younger siblings. What would they do?
Jane went to live with her grandfather and an uncle took her brothers and sisters into his home. When Kids Alive found Janet, she was weak, malnourished, and depressed. Her grandfather was poor and unable to take care of Janet.
But that all changed when Kids Alive brought her into the Children’s Home! Janet had hope again! It wasn’t difficult with such loving house parents, nutritious meals, and the friendship of other kids like her. Janet began to blossom at the Home as she discovered music and explored the outdoors. When she’s not doing school work – which she loves – you can find Janet outside playing netball with the other girls. She’s one of the most responsible girls in the Home and as a 6th Grader, is at the top of her class. Best of all, she has accepted Jesus as her Savior!
