Masters of Math
An only child, Christian (not actual name) is making his parents proud as he pursues something the majority of children in his hometown only dream about — an education! Most parents in this war-ravaged country struggle just to put food on the table, let alone to buy the uniforms, textbooks and supplies required for school. But thanks to Kids Alive child sponsors, children attending the Kids Alive school receive their uniforms, textbooks and supplies at no cost to them. They also receive healthy meals and a snack to get them through the day! Christian is now enrolled in one of our Kids Alive schools. As a second-grader this year, he is making excellent progress in all his subjects, but he excels in math. Christian is already adding and subtracting sums up to 1,000, and he is learning to multiply! With the good education that Christian is receiving at the Kids Alive school, he has hope for a great future!
