New Horizons
Help "little outcasts" like this grow healthy and strong.
All across Europe and the Middle East, nomadic gypsy families are often treated as outcasts of society. Among the precious needy children we help in Lebanon is a little gypsy girl named Iva.
Seven-year-old Iva attends our New Horizons care center program where, for the first time, she's learning read and write. She also now receives medical and dental care, and looks forward to the one hot, healthy meal the care center serves every day. This little one represents many children whose future hangs in the balance along with the futures of her siblings and family.
The gypsy families that we are working with live in primitive conditions - very basic tents, constructed of plastic, corrugated iron and wood. These "homes" have only limited access to basic utilities and often do not have running water, proper washing facilities, or electricity.
Very few of the parents have had any formal education and many are illiterate. Providing education to these children is the key to breaking generational poverty that traps so many lives in hopelessness.
Transform the life of at least one child.
Your love will make a huge difference.
Please pray that...
- Children receiving only one meal a day will receive more nutritious food.
- Girls and boys suffering sickness will get medical care.
- Jesus’ love will shine through all we do.
Thank you for caring for these courageous children!
