No Mother to Care for Them
Carl’s (not actual name) mother was forced to flee the country to get away from repeated life-threatening abuse from her alcoholic husband. But when she left, she knew she could not take her two sons – there just wasn't any way for her to feed, clothe, and properly care them. So instead, she left Carl in the care of the Kids Alive Care Center where she knew he would receive nutritious meals, help with his school work, and loving care from our Christian staff. Carl’s father now is allowing Carl’s younger brother to come with him to the Care Center, so Kids Alive is making a daily difference in the lives of Carl and his brother, along with the many other children in their village.
