Praises!
This list of Praises will merely “scratch the surface” of all that God has been doing this year - because of your compassion, prayers and faithful support to help suffering children.
- One of our older girls graduated with her certificate in accounting and is planning to attend a university.
- The new Zapote Care Center building nears completion and will help us to reach 140 more children.
- At the Oasis, our older girls have begun a new discipleship program focused on serving in the surrounding communities.
SUDAN -
- Land has been acquired for the construct of a new Children’s Home for sixteen street children.
- New Children’s Home in Khartoum and growth at our other Homes has allowed more than 40 new children to join our programs so far this year.
KENYA -
- The Kids Alive Boys Home has a new Home and two other Homes in the Western Kenya have had extensive refurbishing.
- Construction will start of two new classrooms and a Home for our older girls.
- Girls from our Kenya Children’s Home traveled to the States along with our Kenya Field Director. These godly young ladies shared their heart-rending stories, and the hope they now have for the future.
ZAMBIA -
- Land has been acquired and a fresh water well is ready for the construction of a new Children’s Home for 14 children.
- More than forty new children have been taken into our school programs in Mongu.
- New ‘Families Together’ program has begun to support children in a very poor area of Lusaka.
LEBANON -
- A new Literacy Center is being developed.
- Two new missionaries from the US are now leading new counseling and special educational needs programs for our children.
Haiti -
- A larger house for one of our Residential Homes allowed us to take in two new girls.
- Progress has been made on identifying potential land for a new ministry location.
- Completion of construction projects allowed us to add new children to our schools and care centers.
- All of our students passed the national exams for the 8th grade class at the ANIJA school, allowing all of these students to continue on in high school.
- Recently acquired dental equipment will allow us to better meet the dental needs of our children and allow us to receive visiting dentists.
Peru -
- Completion of the Moms Helping Moms workshop area gives the right space to work with skill training for the moms of children in our care center program.
- Our graduates are continuing on in their advanced education. Flora is studying at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina and Jessica is studying at the BCM Bible Institute in Peru.
