What Are Long-Term Missionaries?

Long-Term Missionaries with Kids Alive International are individuals who have felt the call of God to work full-time at one of our overseas ministry locations.

Our Long-Term Missionary applicants have normally completed college and then gained some experience in their profession. We are especially looking for people with leadership and training skills who have a passion for equipping our national staff members.

What is my Time Commitment?

Long-Term Missionaries are required to commit to a minimum of 2 1/2 years.

What are some critical personnel needs?

The needs are numerous. We particularly need the following skills:

• Youth Workers
• Directors of Programs
• Support Staff Roles
• Social Workers
• Trained Counselors
• Construction Trade Skills
• ESL Teachers (English as a second language)
• Teachers (Pre-school, Elementary or Secondary)
• Computer Teachers
• Accounting/Finance
• Entrepreneurs

What fields are currently available in the Long-Term Missionary Program?

• Lebanon
• Papua New Guinea

What opportunities are currently available? (please see ministry job descriptions for current specific needs)

• Long-Term Missionaries (2 1/2 years plus):

• TEFOL and Elementary Teachers (Teaching certificate is required)
  LEBANON
• Director of Education & Communications
• Director of Maintenance & Outreach
  PAPUA NEW GUINEA

What about financial arrangement?

Long-Term Missionaries with Kids Alive will be expected to raise their own financial support. We recommend raising support through contacts with individuals, churches, or groups who will become prayer partners with the missionary.
