(Beit El Safa - House For Girls)

Alain Farhat, his wife, Roula Abdel Jalil, have been the Directors of the Home of Serenity (Beit El Safa) home for girls in Beirut, Lebanon since 1998. With their son, Joe, and daughter, Julie, they attend the Free Evangelical Church of Lebanon.

Alain and Roula are committed to working with girls from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances: “We praise God for giving us this opportunity to reach non-Christian girls who come from dysfunctional families, in order to meet their emotional, social, physical and most importantly, their spiritual needs. In spite of the difficulties, we have great joy when we see these girls going back out into the world with a brighter future, and for some of them, having made a decision to become followers of Christ.”
