Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea joined the Kids Alive International family in 1992 as an already growing, thriving field. Since then, numerous activities and programs have been added to this ever-expanding site, including: the Sepik Christian Ministries Schools, College of Distant Education High School, Bible Training Center, Women’s Ministries, Bible Translation Revision, Marsh Medical Center (with patrols to other villages), Hauna Church and Sunday School Program, Vocational Training Program and the Evangelistic Outreach Program.

Papua New Guinea is constantly invited to come to remote villages and provide education for their children. The main goal is to reach people in these remote areas with the education they need, as well as providing various services relating to their health and spiritual wellbeing.

Papua New Guinea is currently served by Field Director, Shirley Killosky and numerous national support staff. The teacher-training program instituted by the Field Director, is a means to meet the needs of education in the remote villages.
