Special Needs

Our children's homes, schools, and care centers have many special needs. These needs are met through the generous gifts of supporters, like you.  To designate a gift for these needs, we provide two convenient methods of giving.  You may mail your gift directly to Kids Alive.

If we receive more than we need for special needs, your gift will provide other urgently needed care.

• Karundas dispensary operations - $ 1,000 per month

• Hall Mead school operations - $ 1,000 per month

• Electrical installation in the Nyando boys’ dorm - $ 1,000

• Establishment of farming project in the Nyando and Nyamarambe Homes - $ 1,400 each

• Energy-saving stoves for each KAK Home - $ 1,500 each

• Basic Office set up for each KAK Home - $ 1,600

• Sustaining funds for the Nyando and Nyamarambe Homes - $ 1,600 each

• Renovations at the Nyando and Nyamarambe Homes - $ 3,000 each

• Sustaining operations funds for the Karundas Home and the Kids Alive Boys’ Center - $ 5,000 each

• Construction of permanent bathhouses for the Nyando and Nyamarambe Homes - $ 6,500 each

• Expansion of kitchens at the Nyando and Nyamarambe Homes - $ 10,850 each

• Vehicles for each KAK Home - $ 25,000
