Children come to the school from many difficult situations in their homes and barrio (neighborhood), and at Santo Domingo North, they find a second home, a place of belonging and a family at the school.

Math can be a challenging subject for some children, Kids Alive invests in each child to ensure they are able to keep up in classwork. In order to ensure children get the right interventions, we also invest in our teachers by training them to be successful as teachers. This ensures a congenial study atmosphere in the classrooms.
