Help us bless our kids in DR with up-to-date textbooks and reading materials!!
For our students from the poorest communities in Dominican Republic, access to education is very limited. We are blessed to offer quality education and spiritual discipleship to orphaned and at-risk children, and we’re thankful that more than 80% of the students in our program graduate from high school.
Our goals for our kids’ education are both academic and spiritual:
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Both are accomplished in part by access to quality textbooks and literature, and our needs include textbooks for math, Spanish, history, science, reading comprehension, and Bible verse memorization. We also have an ongoing need to keep our libraries well-stocked; instilling a love of reading and self-education is another integral part of holistic education.
Textbook and library funding needs for the 2019-20 school year:
- $10,000 for ANIJA
- $6,000 for Palo Blanco
- $5,000 for Ark Constanza
- $5,000 for Caraballo Park School
- $3,000 for Eva Russell School (This school also receives some government support)
- $3,500 for Santo Domingo East
- $5,000 for Santo Domingo North
