Kids Alive Community Outreach Locations
KAI programs meet needs in the communities where we work, strengthening ties that support families and vulnerable kids.
When needs can’t be adequately met by KAI’s usual mix of Residential Homes, Care Centers, Schools, and Clinics, we design Community Outreach programs to bridge the gaps. Examples include disaster relief, work with families displaced by war and famine, and our landmark “Keeping Families Together” initiative, which seeks to support poor families who struggle to support their children.
Manchay Care Center
Linked with our school in Manchay, the program provides care, training, and small-business start-up help to poor mothers living in a desert community.
Karundas Children’s Center
KAI has worked with over 100 families, helping single mothers develop farming activities and set up businesses that allow them to provide for their families.
Taiwan Alumni Ministry
This ministry supports and assists the alumni of the Taitung Onesiphorus Children’s Home as they transition into independent adulthood.
