At the New Horizons Care Center, Kids Alive Lebanon provides a safe and nurturing space where Dom children and Syrian refugees can learn, heal, and grow. Each day begins with prayer and Bible study, followed by classes in literacy, math, and life skills. For many, it’s their first experience of structured learning—and their first taste of stability, encouragement, and belonging. Beyond education, the Center offers daily meals, clothing, and emotional support. Teachers and social workers walk alongside each child, helping them discover their worth and equipping them for a brighter future. By combining faith, education, and compassionate care, the New Horizons team is transforming forgotten stories into testimonies of God’s healing love.
The items and dollar amounts listed below reflect real examples from the site’s 2025 projected budget—such as mentorship, medical and dental care, daily meals, books and school supplies, and support for dedicated site staff.
