At the Oasis Refugee Center, Kids Alive Lebanon provides children with a safe, nurturing place to learn and heal. Through trauma-informed education, counseling, and daily care, children who have never attended school gain the literacy, confidence, and emotional support they need to thrive. Each child receives individualized attention from trained teachers, counselors, and psychologists who help them overcome displacement and trauma. Beyond academics, Oasis focuses on restoring dignity and purpose. Children participate in chapel, prayer, and discipleship, learning that they are loved and seen by God. As students grow in faith and skill, they become prepared for a life rooted in hope, stability, and renewed confidence.
The items and dollar amounts listed below reflect real examples from the site’s 2025 projected budget—such as mentorship, medical and dental care, daily meals, books and school supplies, and support for dedicated site staff.
