Our school in Constanza shares the same property as Ark Constanza Children’s Home and serves as a second home for nearly 200 elementary students from the local community. We offer quality academics, nutritional support, sports programs, an after-school English program, and high school discipleship clubs. And in order to reach out to families, we have a dedicated social worker to assess and meet needs at home.read more »
Alex* came to Constanza School when he was just three years old. His mother heard about our program and asked if he could attend. When he first arrived, he was malnourished, his teeth were in terrible shape, and he was aggressive toward his peers. The living conditions in his home were not good, and we knew that this was a major factor in his health and emotional well-being.
These days, Alex barely resembles the child who first came to us. After years of medical attention, nutritional support, and psychological care, his life has improved dramatically. He is physically healthy, his dental health has improved, and he arrives at school each day with a joyful attitude. Currently in 4th grade, he is progressing well academically and is a leader among his classmates. Instead of being aggressive, he is now cooperative and affectionate. These changes have been possible because God is at work in our school, using us to bring light into the lives of precious kids like Alex!

Site Partnership also allows for services that reach beyond the basics of what Child Sponsorship provides, supplying resources for trauma training and therapy, nutritionists, social workers, educational counselors, discipleship, and more.
At Constanza, all school employees are trained in specific techniques to better connect with children who have experienced trauma in their lives. Our psychologist works individually with youth who have special emotional needs and need to learn to self-regulate when anxious or angry.
We also operate soccer and baseball programs for more than 200 participants, an after-school English program, and a high school discipleship club. We check heights and weights of each child to makes sure they are growing appropriately. Children who have low body mass are given supplemental nutrition.
