Zambia

Zambia is one of the many African countries that has been devastated by the HIV/AIDS pandemic and by severe poverty. KAI is working to combat the devastation by caring for those most at risk—the children—with loving, holistic care and an introduction to the Gospel.

Kids Alive’s work in Zambia

Within 10 years, the large number of adults dying from AIDS will leave hundreds of thousands more Zambian children without parents to care for them — currently, there are more than one million AIDS orphans in Zambia and not nearly enough resources to help.

Kids Alive provides an education, nutritious meals, medical care, and the love of Christ to more than 600 children in Zambia in our six children’s homes, two schools, and care center program.
