Peru
Across Peru, we are seeing meaningful momentum both within communities and at the national level. In recent months, our teams have trained judges, prosecutors, police officers, and educators in trauma-informed care—equipping them to respond to children with greater sensitivity and to prevent re-traumatization. Partnerships with organizations like International Justice Mission continue to deepen, and a historic agreement with the Public Prosecutor’s Office is helping strengthen access to justice through the development of video testimony rooms and specialized care processes. At the same time, programs like “Playing Makes Us Stronger” are expanding into schools, equipping teachers to help children understand their worth and develop protective awareness from sexual abuse. Looking ahead, teams are preparing to launch new advocacy initiatives, strengthen survivor networks, and expand training efforts that influence both classrooms and courtrooms, ensuring children are not only supported, but protected long-term.

Guatemala
In Guatemala, we are witnessing both personal restoration and systemic change. Over the past quarter, children have been reunified with their families, and women have participated in retreats and vocational programs that are strengthening both their faith and independence. At the same time, our teams are influencing the justice system directly—partnering with the Guatemalan Judiciary to train court staff in trauma-informed care, transforming how children are received and supported in legal environments. These efforts are creating ripple effects beyond individual cases, reshaping systems to better protect children. Looking ahead, teams are building survivor networks, facilitating justice dialogue groups, and preparing for additional trauma-healing trainings like the Jacaranda program—equipping leaders to respond to complex needs with wisdom and care.

Haiti
In Haiti, where instability continues to disrupt daily life, Kids Alive School remains a consistent place of learning, structure, and belonging. This quarter marked the celebration of 22 years of ministry: a powerful reflection of God’s faithfulness through seasons of challenge and growth. Teachers have been further equipped through active learning training, strengthening their ability to engage students in meaningful, student-centered education. Programs like Genius Kids are helping students discover their talents and build confidence, while facility improvements—including electrical system upgrades—are enhancing sustainability and safety. Looking ahead, the team is focused on strengthening family engagement, expanding creative and talent-based programs, and improving infrastructure such as transportation systems and learning environments to ensure children can access education consistently and safely.

Kenya
In Kenya, God is opening doors to expand both community impact and trauma-informed care. Caregiver training programs have equipped over 30 caregivers, while church leaders are being trained to better support children through trauma-informed practices, extending care beyond program walls and into communities. A new partnership with Turning Point Trust is strengthening safe child practices in Kibera, and mentorship programs for children continue to grow in both participation and impact. At Hall Mead School, infrastructure improvements, academic clinics, and expanded programming are supporting students more holistically. Looking ahead, teams are preparing to expand partnerships with schools and churches, increase their reach to more children and families, and integrate justice advocacy into community-based programs, ensuring prevention and protection are embedded at every level.

Amidst conflict and daily uncertainty, children and families continue to be served by the Kids Alive Lebanon team.
Lebanon
In Lebanon, our teams continue to serve in the midst of active conflict and displacement. Despite ongoing instability, they are creating spaces of care and connection for families who have fled their homes. Over the past months, staff have provided meals, clothing, and emotional support to displaced families, while also creating meaningful opportunities for mothers and children to process their experiences together. Gatherings for mothers, children’s activities, and counseling moments are offering dignity and relief in the midst of uncertainty. Looking ahead, if displacement continues, teams are preparing to expand support through regular counseling, weekly children’s programming, and ongoing outreach—ensuring that families have consistent access to care, even in crisis.

Zambia
In Zambia, programs are continuing to grow in both care and justice. This quarter, children were successfully reunified with their families, academic success remained strong, with an 80% pass rate among Grade 7 students—and teams engaged in national advocacy efforts, including contributing to discussions on children's digital safety. Programs are also expanding to serve children who have experienced abuse, while partnerships with national authorities continue to strengthen. Looking ahead, teams are preparing to launch new skills training initiatives, expand justice partnerships, and develop infrastructure that supports long-term care and independence. There is also a growing focus on addressing systemic issues such as child marriage through targeted community programs.

Trauma can convince a child that they are alone—that they are unseen, unprotected, and without hope. But God often begins healing through His people. Through faithful teachers, compassionate therapists, caring families, dedicated advocates, local churches, and communities committed to protecting children, He restores what has been broken and opens the door to a different future.
Across every Kids Alive ministry, we're seeing this restoration take shape. Children are discovering they are deeply loved. Families are growing stronger. Justice systems are becoming more responsive. Communities are learning how to better protect the vulnerable. Together, these moments tell one story: God is transforming trauma to triumph by surrounding children with the relationships, care, and gospel truth they need to flourish.

Peru
Across Peru, God continues to work. This quarter, nearly 200 children participated in the "Playing Makes Us Stronger" program, equipping them with age-appropriate knowledge that helps them recognize unsafe situations, understand their worth, and know when and how to seek help. At the same time, 49 teachers were trained in the same methodology, ensuring that children encounter trusted adults who are better prepared to recognize signs of abuse, respond with compassion, and help create safer learning environments.
Kids Alive Peru continues to walk alongside children and families experiencing the effects of abuse and sexual violence. This quarter, 11 families received integrated psychological and legal support, helping them pursue healing while navigating complex justice processes with dignity and care. These moments reflect Kids Alive's commitment to justice that heals, walking with children and families throughout their journey toward restoration.
God is also opening doors for even greater collaboration. A new institutional partnership is creating opportunities to share trauma-informed methodologies and best practices, strengthening the quality of care available to vulnerable children far beyond Kids Alive's own programs. Together, these partnerships are helping build stronger systems of protection so that more children can experience safety, healing, and the opportunity to flourish.

Guatemala
Across Guatemala, we are seeing God work through the relationships surrounding each child. This quarter, local churches faithfully walked alongside girls in the Oasis program, creating spaces where they could experience belonging, encouragement, and the love of Christ. We also celebrated as 11 girls chose to be baptized—a beautiful reminder that healing reaches beyond physical and emotional restoration to transformed hearts and renewed identity in Christ. At the same time, 3 girls were safely reunified with their families, while young women preparing for independent living continued to grow through education, vocational training, and the steady encouragement of caring adults who believe in their future.
New partnerships with government agencies are helping ensure children receive the specialized care they need, while Kids Alive's work with Guatemala's Judicial System continues to grow through additional leadership and support. We also celebrated the first survivor network gathering for fellowship, biblical encouragement, and mutual support. Together, these moments remind us that lasting restoration happens when children are surrounded by safe relationships, compassionate care, and communities committed to their well-being.

Haiti
In Haiti, the daily realities of civil unrest continue to place extraordinary pressure on children, families, and staff. Yet even in the midst of uncertainty, God is sustaining a community where children can experience safety, learning, belonging, and hope. The work of transforming trauma to triumph often looks like steady faithfulness: teachers continuing to show up, staff creating calm and consistency, and children being reminded that the circumstances around them do not define their future. Through education, spiritual care, and trusted relationships, Kids Alive Haiti School is helping children build confidence, understand their God-given worth, and keep moving toward a future filled with possibility.
The team is prayerfully looking ahead to practical needs that will strengthen this care. One of those needs is a reliable school bus, which would help children and staff travel safely and consistently when transportation can be difficult or unpredictable. Kenya
Across Kenya, God is opening new pathways for children and families to experience healing, hope, and the love of Christ. This quarter, a Vacation Bible School at the new Nyamarambe Hope Center became one of those opportunities. So many more children than expected came to the program, filling the campus with laughter, worship, Bible study, and the opportunity to hear the Gospel. It was a powerful reminder that children are searching for places where they can belong, be encouraged, and discover the hope found in Jesus. That's exactly what Kids Alive aims to provide.
That same spirit of growth is extending into communities across Kenya. A new partnership with a local school in Nairobi is expanding Kids Alive's work to build trauma-responsive schools and safe communities, while new collaborations with government leaders are creating greater access to therapy and support for children who have experienced abuse. We also celebrate milestones that point toward brighter futures, including students advancing to higher education and a graduate earning a degree in education, preparing to invest in the next generation.

Lebanon
When children experience ongoing uncertainty, they can start to lose confidence that tomorrow will be safe. That's why so much of the work in Lebanon is centered on something beautifully simple: showing up again tomorrow. Every school day, every shared meal, every Bible lesson, and every caring conversation helps rebuild the trust and stability that trauma so often erodes. Across Kids Alive Lebanon, God is using faithful relationships to remind children and families that they are seen, deeply loved, and never alone. As the team continues walking alongside children and families navigating fear, displacement, and uncertainty, they ask for prayer that God would strengthen their spiritual and emotional well-being, give teachers wisdom for each child they serve, and help every child entering residential care discover not only safety, but a true sense of home, belonging, and the healing peace found in Christ.
This quarter also offered many reasons to celebrate God's faithfulness. Six students graduated from Dar El Awlad School and are preparing for middle school, while three boys in the residential program completed Grade 9: a milestone that reflects not only academic achievement, but the perseverance, support, and healing that have helped them overcome significant obstacles. Across Lebanon, children and women gathered for 2-day Bible camps where Scripture, worship, discussion, and fellowship were complemented by sessions led by a social worker and a professional counselor, providing holistic care for both heart and mind. At the Lighthouse Women's Ministry, a Father's Day celebration brought 33 couples together to strengthen families through Biblical teaching and community, while the ministry continues to pray that the more than 50 women who recently joined the program will grow deeper in their faith and become equipped to nurture strong households. Together, these moments remind us that lasting transformation happens when God's truth is lived out through consistent relationships, compassionate care, and communities rooted in hope.

Pray for the boys in the Dar El Awlad Residential Program—especially those who have recently arrived—would experience safety, belonging, and the healing peace of Christ as they become part of a loving family community.
Pray for teachers as they prepare for a new academic year, that God would grant them wisdom to meet each student's unique needs and help children remain engaged in their learning and relationships.
Pray that the seeds of faith planted through the Lighthouse Women's Ministry would bear lasting fruit, equipping women to know Christ more deeply and strengthen their families after displacement.
Zambia
Healing a child often means strengthening the people and systems around them. When caregivers are equipped, teachers understand trauma, and justice systems become more responsive, children are better able to experience lasting safety, healing, and hope. Across Zambia, God is opening opportunities to strengthen these circles of care, helping transform trauma into triumph.
This quarter, Kids Alive Zambia signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with the National Prosecution Authority, creating new opportunities to represent children who have experienced abuse alongside government prosecutors. The team also trained 80 correctional officers on caring for children in correctional facilities, helping create more child-centered environments for vulnerable families. At Kids Alive Academy, children continued growing through education, discipleship, and enrichment activities, while plans are underway to expand holistic care by welcoming additional psychotherapy and social work staff. Together, these milestones reflect God's faithfulness as children, families, and communities are equipped to heal and flourish.

Pray that children across Zambia would continue experiencing holistic healing—emotionally, physically, spiritually, and academically—as Kids Alive expands access to therapy, education, discipleship, and safe, nurturing relationships.
Pray for wisdom and favor as Kids Alive Zambia strengthens partnerships with government leaders and justice agencies, asking God to use these relationships to protect vulnerable children, advocate effectively in court, and bring lasting change to systems that impact children and families.
